A Little Digital Reset for Slower Evenings
Share
It is easy for an evening to disappear into one more scroll and one more check of your notifications. A digital reset does not need to mean deleting every app. It can simply mean being more intentional with your attention.
Choose a small phone-free window
Start with fifteen or twenty minutes while you eat, shower, stretch or get ready for bed. Keep it realistic enough to repeat without turning it into another task.
Make your space work for you
Charge your phone away from the sofa or bedside table if that helps, or use a focus setting during the time you want to unwind.
Replace the scroll with something simple
Put music on, read a few pages, make a cup of tea, prepare tomorrow's outfit or step outside for fresh air. It just needs to be something you enjoy.
Keep the good parts of being online
Connection and inspiration can be good things. The aim is not to feel guilty about your phone, but to make sure your time online is a choice rather than the default. There is no perfect routine to keep up with. Just find a little space that feels like yours.
