How to Make Your Weekends Feel Longer

How to Make Your Weekends Feel Longer

Some weekends disappear before they have really begun. The answer is not always to pack more into your days off. Sometimes it is to notice more of what is already there.

Have one little thing to look forward to

Plan a coffee run, a walk somewhere green, a market visit or a slow breakfast with your favourite playlist. One small thing can give the day a little shape.

Leave room in the day

Leave space for a long lunch, an unplanned detour or doing absolutely nothing for a while. Empty space is not wasted time.

Get outside, even briefly

A walk around the neighbourhood or sitting outside with your drink can make a day feel different from the working week. You do not need a full itinerary to reset.

Make ordinary moments feel like moments

Put your phone away while you eat, wear something comfortable that you love, or take the long way home. A good day off does not have to look productive from the outside. Sometimes the best plan is simply to slow down.
